I’ve been working on some actual paper Project Life pages this past week. I have done paper pages styled after Project Life, but these are my first true paper project life pages. The idea is Project Life is supposed to be simple, fast, and easy. I definitely think I am overthinking them. I like embellishments, and paint, and ink, and stamps, and ribbon, and I have a hard time not matting every photo. My first challenge was selecting photos and having them printed. When those photos arrived I had to go through them and capture the dates and sort them out by week. More time than I hoped was taken sorting photos into pocket pages. I see why some people have decided to do albums where the pictures used are all going the same way, or are all in an Instagram boxes. This would certainly help speed up making these kind of pages. I had avoided using all one type of page because I thought it looked boring, but I now see why I might want to change my method moving forward.
November 2013. I scoured the house today to find my movie ticket stub from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. I was so proud to find it tucked away for safe keeping in my wallet.
